    Dear Dr Monte,

Just wanted to let you know that I have really enjoyed Fitness Rocks – all 152 episodes! Now looking forward to Science2Health.

The content is informative and, while it is clear that you want us all to lead the healthy lifestyle that you so articulately present, I have always found your discussion and analysis to be very fair. If your intention was to show that the facts speak for themselves, I feel that you have done this particularly well.

It is clear from comments that you receive that you receive quite a degree of criticism. Being human, I am sure that this is very disappointing. I hope my comments comments go at least a little way to redress the balance!

I am a devout Christian – who has no problems with evolution! – who was particularly saddened to hear that fellow Christians have been so vocal in their criticism of some of your discussions. As a primary school headteacher, I know that you have to ‘roll with the punches’ sometimes and then just get on with the job in hand. On that front, I’d say you have done a brilliant job!

So, to round things up, thank you for all the work that you have put into your podcasts. You can rest assured that in a small part of England, at least, your work is highly prized, eagerly anticipated and is making – albeit slowly – a difference to one Englishman’s waistline!

Thanks again and God bless you!

    Simon
